Interested in finding the best burger in Austin? I am, I think it’d fun AND delicious.

Here’s the idea for the Austin Burger Challenge:

1. The public submits their favorite Austin burger joints for consideration on twitter by including the #ATX-Burger hashtag.
2. Once the polls close I’ll tally the votes in order to determine the top 5.
3. Over the course of 5 weeks, participants will dine at one of the restaurants that made the cut. Ideally this would be group experiences (aka meetups, tweetups, whatever…) if schedules permit.
4. At the end of the challenge, participants will rank each restaurant 1-5, these rankings will be scored to determine who has the best burger in Austin.

Personally I think this could fulfill President Obama’s call for public service by dedicating your time, money, and palate to a scientific pursuit!
